Wikki Tourists defender Nelson Abiam is happy to be back working with his teammates again.
During the break, the defender had spent time with his family in Cross River following the death of his father, but is appreciative of the return to normality since resuming to train with his teammates today, Thursday 22.
“I feel good,” Abia told Lodgexpress official website on his return.
“It was tough dealing with the sad news about my dad’s demise and I had to stay close to my family for some more days but I’m still in good shape.
“It’s a good thing that I’m back on the pitch now with others and in a few days we’ll all be ready to play again.”
One of the positives of Abiam’s return to Wikki Tourists training has been his reuniting with his teammates and also meeting the new arrivals.
“We’ve missed each other for weeks which is a long time and will only communicate via calls and chats” he added.
“Returning to full scale training from a holiday or another break is always good and it usually lasts for a couple of weeks.
“I think everyone feels pretty good and ready to get rolling.”
