Sunshine Stars fullback Dennis Chigozie has said that his side need to be more clinical in front of goal following their 1-1 draw against Enugu Rangers on Sunday.
Abdul Maikaba’s men looked as if they came into the game playing for a draw and in the end Sunshine Stars were the better side though they failed to convert their chances now making it three consecutive 1-1 result from their last three games.
Rangers keeper Emeka Nwabulu did however pull off some stunning saves to deny Sunshine Stars a victory especially in the second half.
“We show every game we are better and better and we are really confident within the team,” Dennis told Lodgexpress official website post-game.
“Hopefully we can keep this momentum and find the net.”We need just to stay hungry and keep focused on our own goalscoring. We just need to be a little more cruel in front of goal.
“Big teams don’t need many chances – from one chance they can score a goal so we need to be a bit more ‘dirty’ in front of goal.”
