Gombe United goalkeeper Itodo Akor has emerged as a priority target for three teams in the Nigeria topflight division.
According to multiple reports, Itodo, who has been impressing in his Savannah Scorpions outfit, is attracting interests from Shooting Stars, Katsina United and Lobi Stars.
Itodo’s superb performances have caught the attention of teams from top division who are looking to bolster their squad ahead of the upcoming campaign with Lobi Stars currently leading the race.
The veteran goalkeeper who led the team to 7th place finish last season has been described as a top class shot-stopper with excellent reflexes and quick decision-making skills. Itodo have also displayed excellent communication skills on the pitch, commanding his defense and providing valuable instructions to his teammates.
With three top clubs vying for his services, and talks currently ongoing between the player’s representatives and the interested parties, Itodo is also said to be open to exploring new opportunities and potentially making a move to a new club next season.
