Sunshine Stars center-back Ekerette Udom was delighted after their NPFL matchday 17 win at Niger Tornadoes.
David Onovo and Ibrahim Yusuf struck for the visitors’ 2-0 win with Ekerette Udom helping his side record their sixth clean sheet of the season.
“We worked really hard against a very strong side. It was complicated at the start, but we put in a good performance,” Udom told Lodgexpress official website.
“I think this was probably our biggest win of the season in terms of the timing of it and what the three points means and we must all keep working to continue in this direction.
“We have to reserve the celebration until the next game as well as the final game of the season . It is a strong squad we have here with good lads and that is very positive. We’re not in the top three yet, though, Doma United are dangerous away from home and there too have two games left to play so we can only maintain our focus at this time and prepare for another 90 minutes to play.”
