Plateau United playmaker Samuel Pam was full of delight after helping his side to a victory over Katsina United on Wednesday.
The Peace Boys secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Katsina United, thanks to a brilliant volley goal from center-back Christopher Nwaeze from a Samuel Pam assist.
Pam’s performance was nothing short of spectacular. Throughout the match, he demonstrated his skill and vision, controlling the midfield with precision.
His ability to find gaps in the opposition’s defense and provide pinpoint crosses was evident, ultimately leading to Plateau United’s crucial goal.
Following the match, Pam expressed his delight at playing a key role in the team’s victory. He told Lodgexpress official website: “It’s always a great feeling to be able to make a difference on the pitch.
“I’m grateful for the trust that the coach and my teammates have in me, and I’m happy I could repay that trust with an important assist today.
“As long as the team is winning, that’s the most important thing. It is our job as midfielders to provide goalscoring chances, but I train and play the game to enjoy every pass, shot, movement, assist and goal. I try to experience all the things that football can give you in the same way.”
