Sadeeq Yusuf says Akwa United’s dressing room are convinced they can secure top three place and Super Six playoffs qualification.
Akwa United now lie third in NPFL Group A table, one point adrift second placed Enyimba and two points behind of fourth place with four games remaining this season.
And Sadeeq who featured over the weekend during their 1-0 narrow defeat at Plateau United says the fans deserve to have their team compete for the title in the Super Six playoffs.
According to the striker, a top three finish is the least they should aim for this season.
He told Lodgexpress official website; “The only way you unite fans is with your performances on the pitch.
“It’s not really about what you talk about, it’s how you perform on matchdays.
“When you start recording victories in your games, everybody jumps on the same boat, it’s simple as that.
“Obviously our target is at least to finish in the top three where the club belongs and we should be in the Super Six playoffs.
“We will fight until the end of the season. There are still four games left and that’s 12 points up for grabs.”
