Robert Mizo was absolutely delighted after helping Bayelsa United to a 2-1 victory over Kwara United on Sunday.

The ace Nigerian striker made just his fourth appearance of the season, and second since netting a hattrick on opening day, as he netted both goals in the win which saw the Prosperity Boys return to winning ways after suffering three conservative defeats in their last three games.

After the match, ‘the Miz’ was in a buoyant mood after scoring in the 11th and 33rd minutes to take his tally to five goals this season.

“It’s something I want to add to my game – more goals – so it was nice to get two today,” he told Lodgexpress official website.

“It’s always an amazing feeling to score a goal and especially at a stadium like ours and I’m glad I can help the team with two goals today.”

He added: “It was really nice to return to scoring after our last two games ended in disappointment. Obviously it was my fourth appearance of the season and it was nice to get out there and in the attack – it’s nice to know that the boss has faith in me up there.”
