Remo Stars goalkeeper Kayode Bankole says they can be happy with their 0-0 draw at Kwara United.
Bankole was pleased with their clean sheet on the day – his fifth of the season.
“We always tell ourselves defend first and the goalscoring chances will come,” he told Lodgexpress official website. “If you don’t concede you have more chance of winning.
“Everyone is really happy with that clean sheet. We’re really delighted with how solid we were.
“Kwara Utd have some good attacking players and are a tough side so we had to be resilient to stop them creating any real clear-cut chances.
“At the end we’re happy we didn’t concede, we stuck to our task and came away with a vital point.
“It was a good result on the road which should hopefully boost our spot on the table.”
