Rangers Football Club midfielder Christian Madu was delighted with their matchday twenty one win against Katsina United on Wednesday.
Rangers won 1-0 on the evening.
And Madu who featured in the game made his reaction during an interview with Lodgexpress:
“Katsina United game was a really tough match but we were able to win, which is the most important thing. We have to keep on this way and do the things the coach instructs us to do and keep going, because it’s a long season. We deserve to celebrate today’s victory, but now we have to think about our game this weekend, which is really close.
“We have to keep doing things this way to keep out hopes of winning the title alive. Make the runs and set-up spaces when we’re without the ball and when we’re on the ball, we have to create good counterattacks. I’m really delighted with the outcome of the game as I came on when we needed to hold on to our lead and I’m glad everything went as planned.
“I think presently it’s important we remain calm, confident and keep on working as a team, which is what we always do in training. Now things are going out as planned in our matches. I always want to be at my best, as does everyone in the squad, and I will always continue to do everything to see that we end the season on a very high note.
Their next game this weekend is an oriental derby tie against Enyimba in Aba.
