Shedrack Asiegbu thanked Rangers Int’l away fans for their support after loss at Lobi Stars.
It was their second consecutive defeat since the start of the season and Asiegbu wants to reward them by getting a victory in the next game, Sunday’s home game against Sunshine Stars at Awka Township Stadium.
“The supporters have been unbelievable over the last one week and we have a lot to thank them for,” Asiegbu told Lodgexpress.com when asked about how the fans will be feeling about his side’s winless run.
“We’re giving our all at each game but it’s not going our way. If we all stick together, I’m sure things will soon turn.
“We don’t want to write any team off. Where we’ve found ourselves is not a position we’re accustomed to but we won’t give up. We’ll keep fighting – that’s what we do.
“We will play again as quickly as possible and this weekend is another important game for us, an opportunity to get things right for the fans – you can’t take that lightly. We’ll get past this difficulty start, dust ourselves down and get ready for each game at a time.”
