Enugu Rangers fullback Eze Chidera is delighted for Chidiebere Nwobodo after stalemate at Sunshine Stars.
Nwobodo scored the equalizer for Rangers after Ibrahim Yusuf had opened the scoring for Sunshine Stars during their 1-1 draw on Sunday.
Chidera Eze was key to the Flying Antelopes performance, both in their solid defense and breakneck counter-attacks.
In the first half Eze produced a terrific block shot destined for goal, and after dashing forward in 27th minute, managed to lay the assist as Chidiebere Nwobodo hit past Joseph Okonkwo to share the points.
Eze told Lodgexpress official website after the game: “I’m really, really happy to have assisted Chidi, because I know he really wants it.
“He is just an all-round fantastic player.
“I train every day to make my crosses and passes better so that I can help my team win by making an assist.
“I try my best in everything I do. I try to defend as well as I can but when I get in positions I try to set the forward players up. The boss have given us fullbacks the license to go and you try to provide as best as possible.
Eze Chidera have now provided two assists and has two goals to his name this season.
