Abia Warriors captain, Nweke Kalu admits he’s enjoying their push for playoffs qualification this season.
The Umuahia outfit returned to winning ways on Wednesday after they defeated Niger Tornadoes 1-0 to surge into the top 3 spots in the group B standing.

In his post-game reaction with Lodgexpress official website, Kalu said: “We have lots of quality players in the squad and when I look at the fixture list, I think we can achieve great things as a unit.
“This weekend we go to Dakkada, so it will be important to make the most of the pace and quality of our attacking line.
“We have played really well in all our five games and, if we managed to defend Femi Thomas’ net for another 90 minutes against Tornadoes, I think our chances of victory would improve massively this weekend.”
