The Nigeria Premier Football League is becoming an increasingly young league. As clubs become more competent, they’ve shifted toward youth development in order to grow their clubs.

Mmekutmfon Udosen have scored two back-to-back goals for the club at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium and is currently the second top scorer for the club this season.

Benjamin Frederick has been among the biggest revelations of this season and recently had a solid game against Akwa United in their 2-2 draw in Uyo.

Wisdom Ndon arrived Akwa United before the start of the season after impressing in division two side, Ibom Youths.

He has been named in the starting lineup in their games since the start of the season and his ball playing style is so unique and different from the rest.

From a player who wore jersey no. 40 last season to now rocking the iconic jersey no. 10 this season, quite a lot has been said about the quality that Abia Warriors playmaker, Udezuka possess.


He has scored once and assisted twice in seven games this season. His next test will be at home against Sunshine Stars.

Kenneth Igboke graduated from Rangers youth system and is now thriving in the first team.


He was recently named the club’s Best Player of the Month. He will be in action this weekend against Niger Tornadoes. Watch out for him!
