A whole host of the players will be in action over the course of the next five months as the Nigeria topflight league kick-starts this Sunday across various centers and we’ve picked out one of the players to watch out for.
Micah Ojodomo (Bendel Insurance): Winger
Micah Ojodomo is a professional football player who plays for newly promoted Nigeria topflight club, Bendel Insurance.

Ojodomo is a quick, creative, hard-working and intelligent player with an eye for goal, who is known in particular for his tricky, pacey, and work-rate on the pitch. Although being a right-footed attacker, due to his ability to play with either foot, he is capable of fitting anywhere along the front line, on either flank, or through the centre of the pitch: all through last season at MFM FC, he excelled as a left winger, as a false-9, and even as an attacking midfielder; he has also been used in a more advanced role as a central forward, due to his ability to score from powerful long-distance strikes.
A player full of talent, Micah Ojodomo is gifted with remarkable dribbling skills, finishing, flair, acceleration and vision, which enables him to, successfully drift past his opponents with feints in one v one situations, create space, and either score goals himself or set-up his teammates from through passes, long-range passes and perceptive one-twos.
Due to his ability in place shots, the Nigerian youngster is also effective from set-pieces. He secured a transfer to newly promoted NPFL side, Bendel Insurance after parting ways with MFM FC following the expiration of his short term deal.
While at MFM FC last season, Micah Ojodomo scored four goals and provided six assists in the Nigeria topflight division.
