James Arong is grateful to Niger Tornadoes teammates for all the support he’s enjoyed since his arrival from Akwa United in March.
The midfielder is joining in a deal that will see him remain the the club until the end of the season with an option of further extension.
“Here at Niger Tornadoes everyone has welcomed me greatly and this has definitely helped me,” Arong told Lodgexpress official website.
“I got on well with the group right from the beginning, I’m glad with the way I’ve integrated so quickly.
“It’s different here. I have known [Charles] Okafor and we played together at Akwa United, and it’s great to have [Okoye] Ifeanyi the skipper around, he’s such a great leader who wants everyone to blend quickly.
Also [David] Okoromi have helped me a lot settle from day one, showing me around, helping me on and off the pitch, so it’s been great here.
“I think it has been the right choice for me to come here.”
