Nasarawa United signing Nelson Abiam has posted a farewell message to Wikki Tourists.
Abiam officially became a Nasarawa United player last week after passing his medical at the club and signing all paperworks. He has since been introduced to the rest of the squad and coach Nikyu Bala during their training sessions as they prepare for the commencement of the second round of the season which is scheduled to kickstart this weekend.

The goalscoring defender’s move to Nasarawa United ends his two-year stay at Wikki, who he joined from Illorin based outfit, ABS football club in 2021.
“One of my most difficult moments has arrived,” wrote the center-back on his official Facebook page. “The moment to leave friends and people who have been so important to me over these last two years!
“I spent two unforgettable seasons in Bauchi, growing as a player, but above all as a person.
“I thank all those who made this dream of playing in the Nigeria topflight division a reality. It was an honour to work and dwell day after day with you.
“Thank you Wikki Tourists. Thank you Bauchi.”
