The shot-stopper sustained an injury in his side’s 3-1 victory over Enyimba on Sunday and will be unavailable for his his sides next few matches.
Yusuf Mohammed will miss Katsina United’s three upcoming matches after suffering a knee injury.
The Changi Boys goalkeeper got hurt in the second half of the game after a collision with an Enyimba player but managed to stay on his feet till the final whistle.
The 25-year-old was expected to undergo a scan on Monday to ascertain the severity of the injury but preliminary reports has it that he will be sidelined for a couple of weeks.
Yusuf will be unavailable for matchday 28 trip to Rivers United on Sunday as well as the upcoming Katsina United games.
Giving an update on his injury while speaking with Lodgexpress in his post-game conference, Yusuf said;
“Yeah I was injured and in pains but had to stay strong to see off the game. I don’t know how bad it is yet but it appears I’ll be out of action for a few games, say a couple of weeks but will return better than before”.
