Nigeria football influencer, Ejimafor Itumo has praised Doma United shotstopper, Kingdom Osayi following the goalkeeper’s performance against Bayelsa United on Wednesday.
The new signing stopper has been in goal since joining the club from MFM FC before the start of the campaign and pulled off a terrific save to deny Mizo Robert to keep the scores at 1-1.
It was Doma United second consecutive draw away from home after playing out a scoreless draw against Wikki Tourists, and Itumo was full of praise for Osayi’s heroics on the evening.
“Magic hands. Once again, it’s really important in that situation,” the Lodgexpress owner said of the first choice goalie.
“No team expected Doma to perform at this level in their debut season in the Nigeria topflight division and no side has demolished them yet. When you see the type goals they concede, it has been from their own mistakes. If they can cut them out, they will be a very great team to play against.
“And about Osayi’s performances since arriving the club, I think he has shown all thus far what a great goalkeeper he is. It is always good to know that if something goes wrong, you have a goalkeeper like Osayi behind you who can save the goal.”
