Kwara United are ready to re-sign Niger Tornadoes midfielder Abdulraheem Shola.
Shola joined Kwara United from ABS during the summer of 2019 and left for Wikki Tourists before the start of the 2023 season. He then signed for Niger Tornadoes on a short term deal during the mid-season transfer window of 2023.
The 20-year-old Nigerian midfielder impressed during last season’s short stint to help the Ikon Allah Boys finish comfortably in 6th position in group B standing.

Lodgexpress says a host of other NPFL teams are also interested in Shola but it appears like Kwara United have been able to struck a deal given their close relationship with the player.
But now it appears the Illorin outfit are in pole position to bring the midfield enforcer back to the club with Shola likely to sign a new contract before the end of this week.
Lobi Stars and Plateau United have been interested in Shola but Kwara United, having struggled all through last season, have put down a concrete offer and have now made a significant breakthrough after weeks of talks.
