Katsina United goalkeeper Mohamed Yusuf says he’s ready to return to first team action before the end of the season.
Yusuf has revealed he is now ready to return to the first team after a recovering fully from a knee surgery he underwent last year.
“After about seven months out I am ready to re-enter the game. All of the post-operation phases have gone in the best way possible,” Yusuf told Lodgexpress during an interview session.
“In this period I’ve underwent every physiotherapy sessions and have never had any problems and I have been able to work at my best to recover. Therefore, I count on being back between the sticks before the end of the season.
“The team need continuity in terms of form so as to end the season on a high and above relegation zone”.
Katsina United now sits 18th on the table with 20 points from 21 games. They’ll play host to Rivers United this Wednesday on matchday 22.
