Katsina United full-back Ezeh Chidera was delighted to face his former team Heartland over the weekend in the Nigeria Premier Football League.
Ezeh Chidera spent just one season at Heartland after joining them on a free transfer from Enugu Rangers during the 2019/2020 season and despite his relatively short stint with the club, he developed a strong bond with both the team and its passionate fan base.

“Playing against Heartland has been a unique experience. I have immense respect and gratitude for the club and its supporters who welcomed me with open arms during my time here. Although I’m now wearing the colors of Katsina United, my memories with Heartland will always hold a special place in my heart.”
The game ended in a 1-1 stalemate in Owerri.
“Football is a dynamic journey, and it’s incredible how it brings us face to face with our past. This match was a reminder of the friendships and the learning experiences I had at Heartland. Today, I am committed to giving my best for Katsina United, but I will forever cherish the moments I shared with Heartland.”
