Bendel Insurance winger Micah Ojodomo hailed their performance for 1-0 win over Enyimba on Sunday, says the players are well aware of the significance of the victory.
It was the fourth time the Bendel Arsenal had beaten a top-five team in the league following victories against Akwa United, Plateau United, Remo Stars and recently Enyimba.
“It’s a big win for us,” Ojodomo who was involved in the victory told Lodgexpress.com.
“With our performances against the top sides in our group this season I think we’ve been very solid against these sides and that has shown in our results.
“It’s been too long so there’s a bit of relief really that we have proved we can beat one of the top sides in the league – Enyimba.
“I think on current form, along with ourselves, Enyimba (whose 3-match unbeaten run was ended) are probably the best team in the league.”
