Lobi Stars attacker Joseph Atule believes that he can catch Chukwuemeka Obioma and Imade Osarenkhoe in the Golden Boot race.
Atule now has 4 goals and 5 assists in nine games in the Nigeria Premier Football League after getting on the scoresheet in their 2-0 success over Doma United.

He is just three goals behind Enyimba’s Obioma and two behind Bendel Insurance’s Osarenkhoe, while Lobi Stars’ teammates Kumanga Suur and Umar Abba has the same number of goals (4).
“Yeah, why not. I feel very confident,” Atule said to Lodgexpress official website when asked if he could win the Golden Boot.
“The race is still very much going on. I know it’s a tough battle. I’m confident that I will carry on.
“I was confident I’d get on the scoresheet before the game. I always want to score or help my teammates score. Today, I scored again. I was confident when I stepped up to take the penalty. Normally goalkeepers, they don’t really know what direction to jump to so that leaves them with a lot more decisions to make. It was a good game for me and I like the way it ended.”
