Enugu Rangers central defender Ifeanyi Onyebuchi says the current squad is good enough to win the lot this season.
Onyebuchi is unwavering in his belief that the squad at Fidelis Ilechukwu’s disposal is the best he has been a part of in the Nigeria Premier Football League.
He told Lodgexpress.com after their 2-1 win over Niger Tornadoes on Sunday: “The manager told us that this time we must aim to win all major competitions.
“The NPFL championship and the Federation Cup are the most important options for every team, and he is very serious about winning the both major trophies. It’s what you should be aiming for when you want to be the best.
“The manager always tells us that we have the squad to challenge in everything and that he will always try to put a strong team to win every game.
“Last season I wasn’t here but it hurts because the team deserved to have won the Federation Cup final against Bendel Insurance.
“That experience has made us more focused, I think.”
