Abia Warriors midfielder ace Fabian Fabian admits Sunshine Stars proved stubborn opponents during their 2-1 win on Sunday.
Second half substitute, Adejoh Ojonugwa came on from the bench and netted a quick-fire double in the 80th and 82nd minutes before the visitors pulled one back in the 85th minute.
“I must say I’m delighted with the victory, as it was a very tough game with so many chances, but we had to wait until ten minutes before the end of the game to finally find a way through,” he told Lodgexpress official website.
“At the end we managed to get the three points and personally I’m very happy and so is everyone here including the fans. We had to win, we achieved it – albeit late and after a real fight.”
