Enyimba attacker Eze Ekwutoziam is delighted to have won his first league title.
Ekwutoziam joined Enyimba in the summer of 2021 from Delta Force.
He told Lodgexpress official website:
“I am incredibly delighted. This is my first league title as a professional football player and I am really happy. We’ve achieved our objective and we were all very excited about winning NPFL,” said Eze Ekwutoziam when quizzed by Lodgexpress official website.
“We all experience great joy for achieving our objective after fighting for six months.
“The league is even tougher when you fight for it in an abridged format and having to compete with five of the season’s best teams made it more tasking, but you feel great when you beat the defending champions [Rivers United] – one of the best teams around. We were better than them.
“The league title is what I wanted most. Our fans needed the title and it would be nice to win another one next season but for now let’s enjoy this one”.
