Endurance Ebedebiri was delighted with Rivers United’s win against Lobi Stars.
The Pride of Rivers won 1-0 in their matchday five fixture thanks to a Alex Oyowah first half goal.
Ebedebiri who has helped Rivers United record three clean sheets in five games so far this season since arriving from Bayelsa United, told Lodgexpress.com, “I think we started the game really well from the first minute. We deserved to take the lead before halftime and we achieved that. We really wanted to keep a clean sheet today and were able to do that.

“We got the win, that’s the most important thing. We’re buzzing with the clean sheet.
“It is important to keep a clean sheet and a produce a good performance, especially in the first half when we could have scored a second goal. It is all about the three points, especially in this hectic period.
On Rivers United’s match-winner Oyowah, Ebedebiri concluded: “I think Alex has so much potential. He is still young and he’s learning, he’s learning the way to play and learning under a great manager. He is a modern-day player which causes a lot of defenders problems.
“You could see today his runs in behind and his build up play getting better. We have different weapons to try and exploit opponents, it is beautiful.”
