Doma United midfielder Samuel Matthew says they can be happy with their 0-0 draw at Sporting Lagos on Sunday.
It was the first time they will record a clean sheet away from home since January 2023.

Samuel was rock-solid all through the game and his performance was nothing short of spectacular, showcasing his exceptional skills and unwavering dedication to the team’s cause.
“We always say defend first and we’ll always get chances,” he told Lodgexpress.com after the game. “If you don’t concede you have more chance of winning.
“We’re all really delighted with that clean sheet. We’re really happy with how solid we were out there.
“Sporting have some good attacking players and are a tough side so we had to be resilient to stop them creating any real clear-cut chances.
“But on the flip side we’re pleased we didn’t concede, we stuck to our task and came away with an important point.
“It was a good point on the road which should hopefully take us a bit closer to our primary target this season.”
