Kano Pillars goalkeeper Muhammed Galadima was delighted with his clean sheet in 1-0 victory over Rivers United on Sunday.
Galadima also paid tribute to matchday hero Rabiu Ali after he scored his 110th league goal on the day.
“Every three points we can gather is massive for us. It was even more special for us today as it was against a big team,” he told Lodgexpress.com.
“Everyone here know the importance of the victory for the fans, for the town, for everybody and for us players equally.
“We will continue fighting and see where we can reach at the end of the season.”
On Rabiu Ali, Galadima declared: “King Rabiu ‘Pele’ is simply amazing and the greatest football player in the league.
“I’m so glad to have him in our team. I hope he can break many more records that he has as long as he keeps playing actively at the top level every week.”
