Bendel Insurance winger Vincent Augustus is happy with the first weeks of the new season in the Nigeria topflight division.
The whiz kid was involved in their 1-0 win against Plateau United on the weekend, coming on as a substitute in the 46th minute.
“It’s very important to start well,” Augustus told Lodgexpress official website. “We worked hard, it’s not easy to start the first couple of games in the new season like this. We won and that was important.”
“I’m learning a lot from the boss, Odogie,” the teenager continued. “Above all, I’m learning on an attacking level, every day I learn something new.
“Last season it didn’t go as we wanted, even though we won one trophy and qualified for the continental games. This season, we want to win the championship, we work for that.”
