Endurance Ebedebiri has hailed the impact at Bayelsa United of two-goal hero, Alex Oyowah.
After a slow start to NPFL life this season, the Oyowah exploded onto the scene with an eruptive performance against Abia Warriors right in front of Nigeria head coach, José Peseiro.
Joining the brigade of successful youngsters making waves in the Nigeria Premier Football League this campaign, Oyowah scored a brace and assisted a brace in Bayelsa United’s 5-1 win.
Ebed thinks Oyowah’s impact has taken Bayelsa United to another level and he hopes the club can stay up and survive relegation at the end of May.
“Oyowah is a top player,” the center-back told Lodgexpress.com after the game.
“He is a different footballer whose hunger for goals can win you matches.
“It’s great to be next to him every day because every time you learn something new, we are really happy to have him in our team.
“He gives us exactly what the team need and his presence in the side has given the squad a big step up in terms of quality.
“I hope that his current form gives us a chance of getting up there and fighting to remain in the league.”
