Bayelsa United new signing center-back, Ogundare Arise, has sent a clear message to their Nigeria Premier Football League matchday two opponents, Doma United.
As Bayelsa United gears up for their matchday two showdown in Gombe, Arise has vowed that his team will protect their coveted first-place position in the league.

Speaking exclusively to Lodgexpress media during a press briefing, Arise left no room for doubt about his and his team’s determination.
“We are ready to defend our first position and stay at the top,” he declared firmly, setting the stage for an epic battle on the field this Saturday.
Arise, who recently made the switch from Dakkada FC, is poised to make his debut appearance for Bayelsa United, and he’s determined to make an impact from the very start.
“We will do everything possible to get a win against Doma United or secure a point.
“We are ready to defend our first position and stay at the top. We know Doma United is a strong team, but we are equally determined. We have been working hard in training, and we will do everything possible to beat Doma United or earn a point this Saturday in Gombe.
“Our performance in the opening fixture against Akwa United showed our quality, and we aim to carry that momentum forward. I’m excited to make my debut for Bayelsa United, and I promise to give my all on the field. Together with my teammates, we will fight for victory and continue to make our fans proud. It’s going to be an intense match, and we are ready for the challenge.”
Bayelsa United currently holds the top spot in the NPFL standings following a thrilling 5-3 victory over Akwa United in their opening fixture last week.
