Hadi Mohammed suggests another rousing reception from the Akwa United fans can push the team towards a much-needed victory this midweek.
The Eket faithful were in full voice during the 0-0 draw with Shooting Stars last Sunday and the ace Nigerian striker feels that another strong show of support can help motivate the players when they step out against Gombe United in matchday 6.

“I will give it everything every time I play. You want to get your home fans on your side. That’s the most important thing. When the fans get behind you, they give you energy.
“They get you going. They give you that extra step.
“It was a hard-fought point against Shooting and Insurance. We will take it considering they are a fantastic sides.
“I think the positives are that we kept a clean sheet but also created some good chances. We can take those good points into our midweek fixture against Gombe United.
“I think it’s a good sign for us that we weren’t happy with a point. We have the confidence to have a good crack at any side, even against the likes of Gombe United.”
