Akwa United center-back Christopher Nwaeze is happy for Adewale Adeyinka who is set to gain more experience with the Super Eagles later this month.
The Nigeria Professional Football League will have a large number of players involved in this month’s friendly between Nigeria versus Mexico as well as Ecuador come May 28 and June 2nd respectively.
Shotstopper Adewale Adeyinka look set for his first senior call-up by Assistant Coach Salisu Yusuf and could be handed a first start.
“Of course its very good for Wale to feel he is part of the national team, and he strongly has a chance of making the lineup because it is in friendlies you can take a good look at players,” Nwaeze told Lodgexpress official website.
“He is a goalkeeper who had an exceptional season at the club last term as well as this season, and has also given a lot and has full commitment, a perfect combo of intelligence, talent and he’s very disciplined.”
