Abia Warriors center-back, Prince Okorie, has praised his teammates’ unwavering determination following their loss to Kwara United on matchday two.
Despite falling to a 1-0 defeat, Okorie commended the team’s spirit and believed that luck wasn’t on their side, especially after hitting the woodwork in the 60th minute.

“As a team, we got a lot of decisions right,” he told Lodgexpress official website. “Possession-wise, we had great control of the game and they were mainly playing on the counterattack.
“We were unfortunate not to score when we hit the woodwork, and that could have changed the outcome.
“Additionally, I want to commend our ability to hold Kwara United, especially considering the travel difficulties we experienced on our way.”
