Gombe United forward Yusuf Abdulazeez has urged his teammates not to dwell on their loss at Niger Tornadoes and must push on at all cost.

The Savannah Scorpions suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat to the Ikon Allah Boys at Ahmadu Bello Stadium but Abdulazeez who has scored 11 goals so far this season said it was important to keep things positive, especially ahead of another huge clash, this time with Kwara United this weekend.
“We do not have much time to reflect on the defeat, just have to move on from it as we have a big game coming up this weekend,” he told Lodgexpress official website.
“If there are things to learn from the loss, we will try to do it and just have to keep going.
“Our position currently on the table is deserving as a result of our hard work.
“Now what is left for us is to see how we can maintain the top form which put us there in the first place.”
Following the defeat, Gombe United have now dropped to 9th on the league table – seven points clear of fourth-placed Enugu Rangers and five points behind matchday 29 opponents, Kwara United.
