Another casualty has been recorded from the reunion of the 279 abducted students of Government Girls Junior Secondary School in Jangebe, Zamfara state, and their parents on Wednesday, March 3, which turned bloody.
Recall that Lodgexpress had reported that security agents stationed at the reunion ceremony allegedly opened fire at the agitated parents who were against the prolonged ceremony organized to reunite with their daughters. The anxious parents disrupted the protocol of the ceremony ND went ahead to hug their children and reunite with them.
It was at that point of the chaos that the military allegedly pulled their trigger, gunned down one person while two others sustained gunshot wounds.
Unfortunately, one of the two injured victims has passed away. The other one according to Arise TV is still in the hospital battling for survival.
