Ex Super Eagles forward, Barnabas Imenger has died.
Imemger who until his death, served as the team manager of Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) club, Lobi Stars, passed away on Sunday night, March 21 after battling an undisclosed illness.
Imenger was reportedly administered in and out of hospitals since January 2021. He made a name playing for BBL Hawks Makurdi, BCC Lions Gboko, El-Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri and a number of clubs in Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
He is the only ex international whose son has played for the Super Eagles. Barnabas Nanen Imenger jnr made his debut for the Super Eagles back in 2012 in the international friendly match against Angola in Abuja.
