The police command in Imo State has played down report of the state house of assembly being set on fire.
A went viral on Sunday night, April 26, of an alleged fire at the state House of Assembly.
Orlando Ikeokwu, Imo police spokesperson while reacting to the video, stated that the building on fire was not the State House of Assembly nor any building in the area.
Ikeokwu also confirmed that motorists were robbed in Orji area of Owerri, in an attack which left four persons with bullet injuries. Victims of the attack have been taken to the Federal Medical Center, Owerri for treatment.
