A young man was reportedly murdered by suspected bandits in Zamfara State while trying to stop them from raping his newly wedded wife on their wedding night.
It was learnt that the incident occurred in Gwashi town, Bukkuyum Local Government Area in Zamfara State.
Facebook user identified as Yusuf Anka shared on Tuesday, March 16, posted photos from the burial of the young man.
“The remains of a newly wedded Young man being laid to rest in Gwashi, He was killed by bandits while protecting his newly weded wife from being raped by the Bandits on her first day in her matrimonial home” he wrote.
