NNPC filling station in Dutse razed down by fire

A fire incident on Sunday, Jan. 8, razed down an NNPC mega filling station in Dutse local Government in Jigawa State.

Reports say a Golf Volkswagen with registration BL 320 RSH suddenly went up in flames while being refueled at the Station and it spread to other parts of the fuel station.

The vehicle was totally burnt while the pump attendant identified as Abdulmumini Haladu, aka Dungun, escaped with fire burns.

Some parts of the filling station got completely destroyed.

A combined effort of Security personnel, men of the State, Federal Fire and Dutse International Airport Fire Service were needed to put off the fire.
