The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has deepest grief and shock over the death of one of its staff, Mr. Nuhu Hamman’Gabdo and his family in a ghastly road accident.
Gabdo, alongside wife, four children, niece and driver were badly burnt to death in a fatal accident along the Nasarawa – Abuja expressway on Saturday, January 9.
An official statement signed by Dr. Ikechukwu Adinde, the Director, Public Affairs, Nigerian Communications Commission, said the late Gabdo and his family were on their way back from his country home, Serti in Gashaka Local Government Area of Taraba State when the accident occurred.
“Until his death, Hamman ’Gabdo was a Principal Manager in the Human Capital and Administration Department of the Commission,” the statement reads.
“The entire Board, Management and staff of NCC express their deepest grief over the incident and commiserate with the entire family, relatives and friends of the deceased. We pray that the Almighty grant the deceased eternal peace in His bosom and that the entire NCC and the deceased family find the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.”
