Bandits carried out an attack at the Kubwa area of the Federal Capital Territory and reportedly kidnapped four persons.
It was learnt that the armed bandits attacked the Baipe area of the Kubwa at about 2 am Sunday morning on new year day.
A source who narrated the incident to Punch, said the bandits went away with four victims, all male, and escaped through the hills
“They kidnapped four men; one of them is Yoruba, two are Igala, and the fourth one is Tiv,” the source said.
Another source disclosed that while the attack was going on, one of the victims was stabbed in the chest in the presence of his pregnant wife.
“The Yoruba man was stabbed in the chest in the presence of his pregnant wife who was appealing that they spare him. But they took him away despite her pleas and money offer.”
When contacted, FCT Police spokesperson, Josephine Adeh, said the police would do its findings and revert.
“We will confirm and get back to you, please.” the PPRO added.
