A junior secondary school student was allegedly sent out of a school in Epe, Lagos, because her bag had a sticker of Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party.
The student named Barinada Marvellous was given an exit note from the school.
The note allegedly signed by the school “principal” reads that she was sent home “to campaign for Peter Obi against the wish of Lagosians”.
The incident has sparked outrage after people claiming to be familiar with the situation took to Twitter to call it out.
