Irate youths in Imo state stormed a police station in the state and razed it down after two siblings were allegedly murdered by a police official.
According to reports from locals, a young man identified as Chinanu Okonkwo and his sister Chinyere Okonkwo from Umuderim Community, Ihitte Uboma, Imo State, were allegedly killed by a Nigerian police officer this morning, March 9.
Coal City Connect disclosed that the brother and sister were killed at Isiweke, the headquarters of Ihitte Uboma council area of Imo State.
Asides setting ablaze the police station closest to the location where the siblings were allegedly killed, the irate youths also burnt patrol vehicles and set detainees free at the police station as policemen on duty scampered for safety.
They then abandoned the bodies of the victims at the police station.
