Daughter-in-law to Kaduna State Governor, Halima Nwakaego Kazaure, who recently got married to Bashir El-rufai, has voiced out about “mistreatment” from a teacher.
Nwakaego took to her Twitter to question why a teacher should talk to a student like a child when the person is the one paying to be taught.
She asked her followers in a follow up post, to imagine a teacher getting annoyed for being asked to explain something in class.
She wrote: “It’s so worrying how Nigerians don’t know their rights and don’t fight for it. I see it all the time& when you complain they think you are just a spoiled brat. Why should I pay for a class and be okay with the teacher speaking to me like I’m a child, as if I didn’t pay for it.
“It’s always just funny, make a joke about the mistreatment. I’ll never tolerate it, I’m a whole adult& I know my rights. Imagine my teacher getting angry because I asked him to explain something again. Then don’t be a teacher Herman. It’s so simple, I don’t care about your age.”
