John Paul Osauro, Grade one magistrate in Bushenyi District, on Thursday, February 18, ordered that a lady who allegedly murdered her boyfriend, be remanded.
Recall that Lodgexpress reported that the accused, one Loyce Tihainomwangire, stabbed his 26-year-old lover, Allan Mandela to death for allegedly cheating on her.
Prosecution counsel led by Sylus Bwambale stated that Tihainomwangire on 12th February, 2021 while in Kitwe, Rwentuha Bushenyi, murdered Mandela, a sports presenter at Hunter FM.
Latest reports today has it that Tihainomwangire told CID investigators that she killed Allan because he infected her with HIV Aids.
Nevertheless, when police checked her into hospital and the results came out negative, Tihainomwangire formulated a new statement and said she murdered him because he was going to marry another woman and that even marriage preparations were underway.
The judge, Osauro, who did not allow the accused to say anything, remanded her in Nyamushegyera government prison until 19th March 2021 when she will appear for mention.
