The players of Trans Nzoia Falcons women’s football team were on Saturday, January 7, thrown out from their hostels at the Kitale Show Ground by officials of the club after they lost a game.
The club were beaten 3-0 by the Vihiga Queens in the Kenya Premier League match on Saturday.
Reports has it that the Falcons went to bed hungry the night before and woke up the following day to get ready for the match against the Queens without being provided with breakfast.
Consequently, they were beaten by their opponents.
After the loss, the players were evicted from their camp without considering where they would reside before leaving for their respective homes.
This has generated public outcry.
