The skin of a man turned bright yellow after many years of heavy smoking and drinking, doctors from the central Chinese city of Huai’an, have disclosed.
The 60-year-old man, identified only identity was given as Du, was rushed to hospital in Huai’an and doctors discovered that he had a giant tumour that caused his skin to turn bright yellow.
The medical experts say they found out that two tumours, one of which was located in his pancreas are blocking his bile ducts.
Disturbing pictures of Du show his neck and stomach turned a dark shade of yellow after being also diagnosed with jaundice.
The tumour blocking his bile duct was discovered to be malignant, and doctors have now asked him to quit smoking and alcohol
It is believed biliary tract obstruction is the main causes for jaundice, which results in a greenish or yellowish pigmentation of the skin and even of the whites of the eyes.
