FC Ifeanyi Ubah midfield dynamo, Samuel Matthew has heaped praises on teammate, Saidu Adamu.
Saidu who made a quick recovery from an hamstring injury he sustained in Nasarawa, was class apart in his sides barren draw against star-studded Rivers United over the weekend, mauling and bulldozing for his team from the middle of the park throughout the duration of the match.
And his midfield partner, Samuel Matthew while speaking with Lodgexpress during a pre-match presser, lauded Saidu, describing him as his BEST partner in the team.
“Playing alongside Saeed in the midfield is really something our opponents never want to see.
“Saidu is a great player and teammate, he’s composed, he plays to instructions, he’s calmed, he’s just phenomenal and he has every attribute that makes one a modern day midfield player.
“He makes the game look so easy, he comes to my aid when the situation is intense and to be very honest, Saeed has been my best partner in the team since I made my NPFL debut.
“He was the central and dominant figure and showed class against Rivers United, a performance which saw him scooper the man of the match award and having him returned from injury and fit for today’s meeting with Akwa, it’s surely a massive boost for the team and his presence alone is enough to bury the entire midfield of Akwa United”.
